1. Features Defining & Scope Creeping

Defining and prioritizing features for the initial release was challenging, as balancing desired features with design timelines risked scope creep.

✅ Solution: We established comprehensive documentation, held multiple stakeholder meetings, and applied Agile project management, breaking down features into sprints to maintain focus and prevent scope creep.

2. Intuitive Navigation Flow

The client initially wanted all features at the top-level navigation, which cluttered the experience and broke UX principles.

✅ Solution: We educated stakeholders on best practices, applying the Laws of UX (Hick’s Law, Rule of Seven) to streamline navigation and guide users through a clean, intuitive flow.

3. Branding & Logo Designing

The client wanted a complex logo with too many elements (a man, sea, and fish), which would not work well in small spaces or as a recognizable brand mark.

✅ Solution: We provided multiple simplified design options, highlighting the importance of clean, memorable branding. The final logo conveyed the fishing essence while staying scalable and impactful.

4. User Testing

Finding testers was difficult because the niche audience of fishing enthusiasts is relatively small and often busy.

✅ Solution: We reached out to online fishing communities, forums, and social media groups, offering free incentives to recruit testers and gather valuable feedback.
